About my Fundraiser
Susan Marie
Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Friend

My sweet and loving sister was diagnosed with Frontotemporal degeneration (FTD) in 2009.

FTD is a disease process that affects the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain.  It causes a group of brain disorders that are characterized by changes in behavior and personality, language and/or motor skills and an inevitable deterioration in a person’s ability to function.  FTD is often diagnosed in the mid- to late-50s, when a person is actively parenting and nearing the height of his or her career.

Her loving husband and other family members are very active in caring for her so she can stay at home as long as possible.

So much has been discovered making it easier for doctor's to diagnose. Funding for research to find a way to stop this disease for future generations is important.

Please help us raise awareness and funding to make this possible. Visit www.shoppingforacause.net to attend our craft show in Hatfield, PA. A variety of raffle prizes ($100 value average) will be available at the craft show or you can donate here to help us reach our goal of $1,000

Thank you for your support.
