Food for Thought 2016

Food for Thought (FFT) is a grassroots campaign created to educate people about FTD, while raising money to help fight this disease.

FFT 2016 is the fourth annual campaign timed to begin during World FTD Awareness Week, this year FFT will run for two weeks, from September 25 through October 9, 2016.

As we all know, frontotemporal degeneration (FTD) is a life-altering disease for those affected as well as for their loved ones.  Yet it is little known and poorly understood.  This campaign seeks to make more people aware of FTD while involving some food/drink and a little FTD education.  AFTD has a list of event ideas to help get your creative juices flowing.

In 2013, there were 56 events in 25 states. In 2014, there were 80 events in 36 states. In 2015, there were 61 events in 33 states. In 2016, our goal is at least one event in all 50 states!

AFTD will put you in touch with a volunteer liaison to help you out along the way and provide you with great advice like tips on fundraising and getting media attention.
