About my Fundraiser
Dear Family and Friends: In November 2010, I accomplished my long time goal of running the NYC Marathon. I did this in honor of my father, David, who passed away on September 23, 2010. Through generous donations from family and friends, I was also able to raise $34,000 for The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (“AFTD”). That $34,000 turned into $102,000 after being combined with a 2:1 match from the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation. Once again, I am raising money for AFTD, a most worthwhile cause – and once again, the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation will match $2 for every $1 that you contribute. AFTD is a non-profit organization whose mission, among other things, is to promote and fund research into finding the cause, therapies, and cures for the frontotemporal dementias as well as to provide information, education and support to persons diagnosed with frontotemporal dementias, their families and caregivers. Any support you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Best regards, Russell Zomback COMMENTS
